  1. Yay for musicals! I don't know what it is about summertime that makes me want to pull all of them out and watch them repeatedly.

    :-)

    Number 1 on my list was featured last Friday. Number 2 is featured today. Number 3 was featured on July 4. Numbers 4 and 5 will be featured in the next two weeks . . .

  2. Nope, not a fan of musicals. Though I do like The King and I, Pippin, and The Music Man. Can't stand Oklahoma or South Pacific. Give me a good Western any day of the week and twice on Sundays! (-;

  3. I love love love My Fair Lady and Fiddler on the Roof. Then comes Sound of Music. Beyond that, I just don't do musicals. I think I will always enjoy the ones I fell in love with as a kid.

  4. PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!! lol.

    Then there's some tamer ones, like Sound of Music and Fiddler on the Roof. Hmmm...can Disney movies count?

    I love musicals.

  5. I love musicals! Top five: Hello, Dolly, Fiddler on the Roof, Funny Girl, Chicago, and Paint Your Wagon. Then there's O Brother, Where Art Thou? which doesn't really qualify as a musical, but I love the music in it. And I saw Showboat in DC at the Kennedy Center and loved it. Also Phantom in NYC and Thoroughly Modern Millie. So, I guess there's more than five.

  6. White Christmas
    Singin' In The Rain
    The Sound of Music
    Seven Brides For Seven Brothers
    Meet Me In St. Louis

    Those are the top 5 today. The only one that never changes places is White Christmas.

    The world would be so dull without musicals.

  7. Oh, man, I can't believe I forgot White Christmas. I just got this movie on DVD. My family knows I can't have Christmas without watching White Christmas and Scrooge (Alastair Sim version). I've about worn out my VHS copy of White Christmas.

    Thanks for reminding me, Rachel.

  9. I'm not one for musicals. About the only one I can stand is The Sound of Music...but then I honestly don't know if that is classified as a musical or not...
