Midwesterner, aka flatlander. That's the states colored in red that look like a dragon? Hee hee
I'm a hopper, Texas, California, Virginia and my favorite, Alaska.
Wow, I didn't realize how many states I've been in until I started counting... I've been to 29 of 'em. Of course, I was in an internship for a year and we travelled to conferences all around the country, so that helps... :-)
I haven't been around quite as much as April, but I have been in 27 of the 50, plus Washington DC. With the exception of Alaska, the furthest north I've been is Pennsylvania, if that tells you anything about my regional identity. :-) I have set foot in the Atlantic, the Pacific, and the Gulf of Mexico, as well as seen the Rockies, the Blue Ridge/Great Smokies, and the Appalachian Mountains. And next month, I'll be adding MINNESOTA to my list. And I'm hoping that I'll be adding Michigan sometime soon too.
My family did a lot of traveling when I was teeny tiny. I can think of 22 states that I know for certain...but there may be some I don't remember.
I think I've been in 35-36 states total. I've been to nary a state in the deep South or Southeast. By the way, where'd you get the map? I think I'd like to post this on my blog.
Boy, I sure don't get out much...
Here is the link to the map. It will create the HTML code for you to plug and play. :)http://douweosinga.com/projects/visited?region=usa
This is cool! I've been to 33 states (66%) off hand. Still trying to track down the path on a couple more trips, should have 4 or 5 more, but I'd like to be sure now that you've got me thinking about it. Have not been in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, or way up NE, Maine, Vermont, Delaware. I should have started a some kind of collection!
Hi Erica--fun exercise. I've been to 25 or 26 (I got mixed up on the count as I'm still here on vacation in California). However, most of the states I've been in are in the southern 2/3 of the US with a few exceptions (NY, PA, NJ). Coming to Minnesota next month will be a new state and one up north for me!
All but Alaska! Someday... I married to a husband who has traveled a lot for his work and the family tagged along! :-)
