Tweeting

Okay, so I avoided Twitter for quite some time. But now I'm jumping in.
Why?
Because Karen Ball and Allen Arnold say I should. :)
After sitting in on their fabulous continuing ed class on being a professional author, I've decided to test the efficacy of tweeting on twitter.
You can follow me at http://twitter.com/EricaVetsch and together we'll see if this thing is worth the time and effort. I've downloaded Tweetdeck, so I can post to Facebook and Twitter at the same time.
If you follow me, I'll follow you, and we'll all be following each other...but who's in the lead and where are we going?

  2. I set up my twitter account just to get updates about the ACFW contest. I'm clueless on how to do it. Erica, I'll take any advice you've got. :)

  6. The marketing kids told me I had to Twitter because "all the cool kids do it". Twitter is Facebook without the nonsense. You play as little or as much as you want. A good resource Twitter for Dummies recommended by this Dummie

  10. I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE tweeting...then I forgot all about it. LOL!!! Yet, every time I see a spider my first instinct is to run for Tweetdeck to tell everyone. Maybe I'll start up again today, then we can follow each other around;)

  11. I think I'm going to have to get Twitter for Dummies. And about a week to learn the ins and outs of Twitter. But I'll get there, one bite at a time. :)

Thanks to you all for welcoming me to Twitter.

  12. You crack me up. I've had that exact same thought - are we all just following each other? I learned in Jim's class I need to be entertaining when I Tweet. Now I'm a little nervous every time I go to do it...

  13. I'm not a tweeter. Perhaps if I'd attended that class I might be convinced, but TMI just distracts me from writing . . . or lately, from thinking about writing.

I know you'll do great, Erica, because it fits your ebullient personality.
